Hound Tor Medieval Village
A small UEFN experiment, testing the workflow of high resolution photogrammetry scan data into a Fortnite map.
The "Hound Tor" map is an experiment in seeing if scanned photogrammetry data can be effectively integrated into a Fortnite map. The source mesh and textures were far too high resolution, so a lot had to occur to make this work, including slicing the mesh and re-casting to unique UVs nd material/texture sets.

About the Map
Photogrammetry has been a big part of my professional life, and I've recently become fascinated with recreating real world environments that are historical or archeological in nature.
Over the years I have experimented with various techniques to capture and recreate these environments, and have been lucky enough explore and scan sites that are now closed off.
The site itslf is low lying so all photos were simply captured using a phone.
The map itself contains information about the site, including its history and significance.
